The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership will launch the first Call for Access to Research Infrastructures on ‘Piloting access to shared research infrastructures at pan-European scale and reinforce capacities to support the transformation of the blue economy’.
It will enable applicants to submit a proposal for utilising the Research Infrastructures made available by providers partners of the Partnership from 7 different countries across all EU sea-basins and the Atlantic Ocean.
The portfolio encompasses 48 Research Infrastructures of the following typologies: research vessels, fixed platforms, auxiliary devices and experimental stations, mobile platforms (AUVs, gliders, aircraft), portable equipment, analytical labs and test benches (pressure chambers, pools, calibration/inter-calibration bench), and high-performance computing centres.
The Research Infrastructures of the portfolio are offered to public and private groups of users of the blue economy pan-European community selected for access, i.e. researchers, engineers and technical staff of research organisations, private companies, non-profit organisations, etc.
The Call will be published on the Partnership website on 28 February 2025.
