The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership has launched its first Transnational Access Call to Research Infrastructures (TA Call to RIs) on 28 February 2025, inviting applications from the pan-European blue economy community.
This call provides access to a portfolio of 49 Research Infrastructure (RI) services across 7 countries, including research vessels, fixed platforms, auxiliary devices and experimental stations, mobile platforms, portable equipment, analytical labs and test benches, and high-performance computing centres.
The initiative supports the Partnership’s Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) by fostering innovation, aligning national investments with EU strategies, and promoting Open Science and international collaboration. Proposals must align with at least one of the 2024 Intervention Areas:
The call is open to research institutions, private companies, NGOs, and other stakeholders worldwide, with specific eligibility requirements for consortium composition.
