The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership is launching a new video series, Blue Economy Capsules, to make ocean-economy concepts accessible to a wider audience.
Through short and simple videos, the series explains terms linked to the blue economy, from well-known areas such as renewable energy to less general topics like digital twins of the ocean and maritime spatial planning. Each capsule breaks down a concept in clear terms and connects it to real-world research and innovation.
A feature of the series is the direct link to projects funded by the Partnership. Project coordinators share insights into their work, helping to illustrate how these concepts are being applied in practice to address ocean challenges and develop sustainable solutions.
The first video introduces the concept of the blue economy, highlighting its role in supporting economic development but also the need to ensure the responsible use of marine resources.
