The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership has launched its fourth joint transnational call, entitled "Building a sustainable and innovative Blue Economy: mastering digital opportunities and fostering resilience". The call aims to support research and innovation projects that address key challenges for a sustainable and resilient blue economy. With an estimated budget of €38 million, it will cover four priority areas: sustainable and strategically autonomous blue economy sectors, digital and ecosystem-based approaches to sea-use, sustainable marine production and harvesting, and resilience in coastal communities.

Projects should run for 36 months and involve partners from at least three participating countries, with the call encouraging the involvement of businesses, public authorities, associations and civil society organisations.
